Information About Ahaia Beaches
Located 10 klm. from the Psathopyrgos village, coming from Patras on the old highway. Even though small, the pebble beach and pine trees offer a beach bar. There is also a pier for dives.
On the east side of the port, extends the large and organized beach of Rio. The pebbles go all the way up to the small coastal road where all the cafes and taverns are located.
It is not a unified beach but several sequential bays, some with sand others with pebble. In some you will find deck chairs but that’s all. The rocks and bushes give a wild look to the entire coast.
The sandy beach of Kalogria has developed into a water sports heaven. The water sports center, besides the usual sports, offers catamaran-sailing and trampoline. The shallow water is ideal for children.
