Kalamos is a beautiful village located at the northeast part of the Attica prefecture. The village is at a distance of approximately 45 kml. From Athens and has easy access to the National road of Athens-Lamia. It is built on a barrow and has a view of Evia and the Evian Gulf. One of the main characteristics of the area is the dense vegetation. Kalamos combines green mountains and blue seas.
Grammatiko is a half-mountainous village of Northeastern Attica, near Marathon. It extends to the northeastern tip of the prefecture, amongst mountain ranges which determine the morphology of the area. The village depends mostly on farming and stockbreeding as does the neighboring town.
Chalkoutsi is the most northern coastal village of northeastern Attica. Along the coastline it is located north of Oropos and south of Dilesi. It has a small local market, open air cinema and school facilities as well as a football field (soccer). The village blooms during the summer as its population increases due to the arrival of tourists both there and the settlements nearby.
